5Legend of YMIR is about characters that want to stop 'Ragnarok', an apocalypse that occurs every 9000 years on the continent of YMIR. With facial motion capture, the realistic movement will provide more vivid graphics and make players feel absorbed in the game.
Legend of YMIR was actually first teased back in January with a technical demo trailer. This past week at G-Star 2022, developer Wemade XR officially announced the Unreal Engine 5 MMORPG. Based on the stories of Ymir, the game is actually considered an entry in Wemade’s MIR series of games. It was mentioned that Legend of YMIR is a MIR title told from a Norse mythology point of view. Interesting. No launch schedule was announced, but PC and mobile should be a safe bet since Legend of YMIR will be on the WEMIX blockchain platform. Stay tuned for updates!
WEMADE, a Korean development studio behind the MIR series of games, has announced a new title called Legend of Ymir. In the tech demo announcement released by WEMADE Global, the Producer of Legend of Ymir explains that the upcoming title will adhere to the story of Legend of MIR, but will utilize Unreal Engine 5 as their first foray into a next-generation MMORPG.
