I'm posting this as (hopefully) a video response to Zelda Dungeon's walkthrough about killing the Dodango, which is the boss in the Level 2 Dungeon and in subsequent dungeons. The normal way that ZD shown is easier, but this is another way that might take more skill to pull off perfectly, but if you can, you can save a bomb.

Place a bomb RIGHT NEAR the path of where the Dodango is taking (but don't quite put it IN his path, or he'll eat it and you'll have to place another bomb, and not too far or you'll completely miss. Take note of where I place it in this video). When the bomb explodes, the smoke will stun him for a few moments, in which you can hit him once with your sword to kill him.

This is very helpful in the later dungeon rooms where you will have to kill three of them, where if you're REALLY good at this method, you can kill two Dodangos with one bomb. In these rooms, though, it's a bit easier thanks to the black lines that separate the tiles. Put the bomb right at the separator line, and it is almost guaranteed to hit. Just remember, though, that this takes some practice to master (took me a few loading on my save state to get this down in one bomb, and I can usually do it this way all the time), and the way ZD showed you is the easier (though more bomb-consuming) way.
