This is NOT a romhack. I am playing on a legit US region ROM. I didn't use any kind of ROM corruption app or savestate editor to cause this - the glitch is legit and happened to me randomly. I was playing Zelda: Link's Awakening DX (the GBC version that is backwards compatible with GB) through an Everdrive clone bought on Shopee. That Chinese flash cart has problems with keeping GBC savestates intact, unless you manually back them up and reload them everytime you run the ROM. They become corrupt if you leave them for too long and you need to load the backup file into the cartridge's SRAM, or else weird stuff happens. And I forgot to do so. Usually it reverted my states to the beginning of the game, in case of this Zelda game and DK Country on the GBC, but this time things got *really* weird.

This is a pretty scary glitch, which creates a corrupt savefile that makes you die right after loading the savefile, respawn at Tarin and Marin's house, then Marin, starting in a lying down position, which makes it scarier because she looks like she is dying, appears to become a ghost and follows you. She then briefly "reverts" to a human, to become the ghost again. Not only this - the ghost does all dialogues and interactions that Marin did in the part of the game where she followed Link, so the ghost is basically Marin. You also have a level 0 shield and sword, that does not damage enemies unless you use the spinning charge attack, plus you have the flippers and Pegasus Boots, but no instruments.

I'd crap my pants if this would happen to me when I was a kid.
