First of all, may I say a HAPPY EASTER to all my followers :D (Finally, I can each chocolate again!)

Moving on, I'll go ahead and upload a video relating to my most recent gaming plight. Last Friday saw the release of The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (originally for the Nintendo 64) on the Nintendo Wii's Virtual Console service (at least in Europe and Australia anyway). Having emulated 5 other Zelda games before and ESPECIALLY wanting to play a non-emulated variant on this one due to reasons relating to the original's Expansion Pak requirement, I decided to go get it. And man, what a ride it was :D

So, I made a decision to record myself doing the final boss fight, as I tend to do with these sort of games. I'll discuss all the forms as I go along. Note that all that I use for the battle is a stash of light arrows and a swig of Chateau Romani beforehand (those on any% runs are actually allowed to use the masks they accumulated, while those on 100% runs like me are forced to use the Fierce Diety Mask as their only mask, and I refused to use such a game breaking tank at that point.)

Majora's Mask, the titular adversary for the game, comes in three forms. Surprisingly, I hate the first form a lot more than the others, namely because it's actually a little tricky to get to hit him. I'm fully aware that his weak spot is his back and it's usually better to hit him from underneath, but the nimbleness of the form makes it trickier to duel with on first glance. On my very first attempt on this I ended up using almost all my arrows and being forced to finish the whole thing with Fierce Deity, which was NOT what I wanted. But anyway, it went down ok... maybe except for the four times the right control stick on the VC pad brought up Tatl's... tattling (!) by mistake. Oh well... least it was done pretty decently.

Majora's Incarnation could have been better by my standard. When I first encountered it, I generally thought that this form was absolutely silly - running around like a headless chicken while stopping to do a bunch of weird dances, only ever trying to hit me once in a blue moon. My clumsiness DID get the better of me in certain parts, especially near the beginning and several times when I struggled to get a lock on, but nevermind about that.

Thankfully, Majora's Wrath was disposed of VERY quickly. Sure, I might have taken quite a bit of damage during that form, but the fact that I cleared it faster than the other two forms proved a point on showcasing my reflexes on this one. I might have been thrown across the room only once though, but other than that I seem really happy with this take on it.

And there you go for it - the entire Majora battle with nothing but light arrows. Designed for the completionists who don't want to resort to ungodly power.

Thanks for any and all responses, and enjoy your long weekend :D
