Here, I beat the first quest of The Legend of Zelda without taking any damage. This was done in 12 perfect segments. Each segment begins from a hard reset and ends by saving using the UP+A method on the second controller while the game is paused.

This wasn't as hard as I expected it to be, but there were still plenty of problematic areas. The biggest annoyances were goriyas, wizzrobes, stone statues, darknuts, tight rooms, bubbles (which for some reason I insisted on avoiding), and Ganon.

In this first segment, I go after some rupees, the letter, blue lantern, magical shield, arrows, and white sword.

No save states, slowdown, turbo, etc. is used in this run.
