Zelda could finally be playable.
Everyone knows the Legend of Zelda, where you traverse Hyrule as the titular character.... 's love interest, Link.
Confusing right?
Why not call the game Legend of Link, it's his game after all and Zelda is not even a playable character in any of the main series games.
Sure, she appears in several Nintendo games, such as Smash, but NEVER as the one completing the challenges to obtain the TriForce.
But that is FINALLY about to change.
Recently a producer of Legend of Zelda, Eiji Aonuma stated that in a future main-line game, Zelda could finally be a playable character.
Now that would be interesting, could we play as Zelda herself or maybe even Sheik?
Will Link be the one in trouble this time? We definitely hope so. If Samus and Peach can do it, why can't Zelda?
