Crime Returns to Gotham City. Joker robs the harbored side theater but it soon put behind bars. Busted out, he and Lex Luthor work together to help Luthor win the election, as well as putting an end to Batman and Superman. Batman, Robin, Superman, and other members of the Justice League must unite to stop the Joker and Lex Luthor.

Joker and Lex steal all of the Kryptonite from Batman and Robin, and head for Metropolis. While Robin stays behind to repair what he can in the Batcave, The Dark Knight teams up with the Man of Steel to stop Lex and Joker from arriving at Metropolis and retrieve the Kryptonite.
