In todays video we build the retired Lego Creator Expert London Bus set #10258, with 1,686 pieces. This is not a build I personally wanted to do, but it is one my mother wanted. She is a very big collector of Lego that reminds her of places she’s been, and this bus is another set in her growing collection. I am excited about this build because I am curious about building a bus, and overall the build looks simple. In the unboxing we find a total of 17 bags making 4 building steps, a sticker sheet, and the booklet. The build did indeed go over very easily in a single day, with every step taking about 1.5 hours. In the review we go over all the details, with are mostly sticker elements. I like the English twist on Lego terms to make street names, I like the tourism advertisement, and I also like the option to have a biscuit advertisement as well. But finally the plates of the bus are really cool with an extra voice of color, but they are the designers initials and the set number. The set is primarily made of red brick, using the best of what 2017 had to offer to make all the curves and details. I am really impressed with the bus and am glad I had the opportunity to make it. I do feel indifferent overall on the experience and my BAT Score of 64 definitely reflects that. It is a good set for collectors, but not for someone looking for the next wow factor.
