300 Subscriber Super Sized Vlog Video! (Watch To The End For The 300 Subscriber Build!)
In todays video we celebrate 300 subscribers by a what it looks like behind the curtain of YouTube and the bricksandtoyz channel video. I start this video discussing subscriber growth and its impact on my mental health. In April and May the channel had tremendous growth. But in June it significantly slowed down causing me to tailspin into a depression of worry. This caused me to be present yet disconnected from the channel. With the reception of Julys videos we are going back on track and channel growth is growing once again and I have worked through my depression to be back in focus. I do have anxiety, suspected to be on spectrum, and adhd, making this job incredibly challenging but I enjoy what I do for you all. Adding to the stress of the last month, my laptop decided to die thus causing more stress, as I already have racked a tremendous amount trying to give the glossiest production I can provide on the channel while I’m silently improving my entertainment skills. Luckily the new laptop works remarkably better and that leads to my next point. I am going to start streaming on Twitch again starting in August. Also, I have a job interview the day this video is released, please wish me luck as that will help the channel tremendously. Another mention is a finally have business cards that link to me social media outlets. I plan on using these cards at the Lego store and conventions. Leading into my next topic I did meet and will link up with a local Las Vegas L.UG. group to hopefully learn and better myself at Lego. I did want to answer questions from you the subscribers, but I only got a handful of inquisitions. First asking about Clone Wars sets from Star Wars. Yes, I want to get some. But because of the failure of my last two Star Wars retired builds its not a major priority. I was also asked about advice on starting a Lego City, so I did lay out the info I had. I show off a clip of my latest silent project of organizing my Lego bricks and I also show a clip of some off camera work done to the Lego City beach area. We unbox about 5 bricklink orders I placed of random parts for the City and the Hocus Pokus area, and two large Lego bags of parts for the city streets and Beach. I unbox some Amazon Prime Day Lego Deals I ordered today which are the Boba Fett’s Starship set #75312, I paid $38 from the original $50, and the Dark Trooper Attack set #75324, I paid $24 from the original $36. I then unbox a Lego order from the 1st of July of sets not found at my local store and those were the Star Wars UCS Republic Gun Ship set #75309 and two Creator 3 in 1 Surfer Beach House set #31118. Hopefully these sets make a really cool Tiki Bar from Brick Artisan on rebrickable.com. Who recently watched my video on the Cozy House sets making his MOC of the Victorian styled home. Finally I unveil the 300 subscriber build which is the Advanced Model Imperial Flagship set #10210. We paid $700 for this set used. It is missing some pieces, but once restored it could be valued at around a $1000 dollars. I end this video off asking to be kind and to Like, Share, and Subscribe if you enjoyed the video. Thank you for watching!
