Deep in the jungles of Minecraft, beyond the reaches of normal modern-day civilization, there lie a structure. An ancient, dormant, living, breathing structure filled with foliage, puzzles, history, and character. Its walls and once glorious roof lay strewn-about as the creeping vines take back the stone into the earth from whence it came. Here in this video, I showcase my entirely custom Lego jungle temple build, and bring the fictional structure to life. Jungle temples, sometimes referred to as jungle pyramids, were generated structures found in Minecraft worlds where they consisted of an assortment of mossy cobblestone, chiseled stone, traps, and cracked stone brick. They made their debut into the wondrously blocky world of Minecraft in August of 2012 during the 1.3.1 update to the game. Our model stands complete, being built to-scale with a Lego Minifigure, and containing all the tools, gems, and building material a player will need to uncover the mysteries of the jungle.
