79I'm reviewing LEGO Movie 2 Battle-Ready Batman and MetalBeard, a 168 piece LEGO set featuring MetalBeard crab mech, Battle-Ready Batman minifigure, Batman's throne complete with "you're welcome" sign and Maddox minifigure who looks very familiar! In this LEGO 70836 Battle-Ready Batman and pirate MetalBeard unboxing, speed build and review video, we'll be taking a detailed look at cool 2019 LEGO Movie 2 set.

Battle-Ready Batman and MetalBeard includes Crab Mech Metalbeard plus Maddox and Battle-Ready Batman minifigures. Weapons include Batman's 2 Batarangs, 2 swords, and Maddox’s spear. Maddox has a very memorable face and is actually recycled. He appeared in Jay's Lightning Jet, one of the LEGO Ninjago Movie sets as one of the Shark Army minifigures.
The LEGO Movie 2 Metalbeard buildable figure stands about 6 inches tall and features MetalBeard minifigure head, opening treasure chest with MetalBeard's internal organ elements, flip-down crow's nest with a flag and posable legs.
The Battle-Ready Batman minifigure comes complete with a throne with mechanized "You're Welcome" sign which can swing backwards and forwards using LEGO gears.
70836 Battle-Ready Batman and MetalBeard is a cool set and makes a good display piece but Metalbeard is very finicky with six delicate legs that are trick to align correctly and may prove frustrating for younger LEGO builders.
