LEGO Ninjago Movie garmadon, Garmadon, GARMADON! 70656 Review
64Hi LEGO fans! Here's my review of garmadon, Garmadon, GARMADON! The awesome LEGO Shark Mech from The LEGO Ninjago Movie. This is one of a new wave of 2018 LEGO Ninjago Movie sets that went on sale in the US and Canada on December 1st 2017. In this LEGO 70656 review of garmadon, Garmadon, GARMADON! we unbox and speed build the Shark Mech and review this new Ninjago set in crisp 4K ultra high definition.
Garmadon's LEGO Shark Mech is a very impressive set and the 830 piece part count includes six Ninjago Movie minifigures: Garmadon, Lloyd, Hammer Head, Frank, Nomis and Nancy. Not only does the Sharm Mech look impressive, it also has various interactive features with two LEGO cannons that shoot rubber-tipped projectiles, snapping jaws and posable legs. There are also front and rear cockpits for Garmadon to control the mech and for a gunner.
There is great use of the grey-blue LEGO elements to give 70656 garmadon, Garmadon, GARMADON! an authentic great white shark look and feel and some innovative use of LEGO element layering gives the shark mech a very pleasing 3D feel. Also in the box, we get a great LEGO hot dog stand for Nomis modelled on the hot dog stands we see in cities across the United States and beyond. Nomis is selling an interesting combination with his hot noodle dogs - hot dogs topped with noodles.
Sadly, Nomis and Nancy are the only exclusive minifigures to this set. Garmadon, Lloyd, Hammer Head and Frank are repeats of Ninjago minifigures we've seen in other LEGO Ninjago Movie set reviews. I'll leave a playlist on screen so you can check those out.
