After watching some unused content videos, I remembered something me and ImJustATester found back in 2018 that's STILL (most likely) undocumented! In the General Grievous level, outside of the player's view is a brown egg, and the game's debugging features can let you see it. Turns out, it's a model spawner for a small part of the intro cutscene.

Using the Cheat Engine table I've linked below and the first NTSC-U release (NOT Revision 2.0), load the game on PCSX2 1.6.0 or earlier and go into the General Grievous level. The value in the sheet is listed as both an Array of 2 bytes and a one-byte value. Setting it to different values (1-255) will result in different things spawning at the egg. A value of 39 will spawn the visuals for the platform seen in the intro cutscene, but some other values spawn other models there.

Finally this is documented. It's possible this was noted SOMEWHERE but I can't find it on any of the LEGO Star Wars modding/technical channels.
