Thanks to amazing ongoing work by modder Archy, level editing for SSX Tricky tracks has just recently become possible! It's very primitive in its current state, only modifying what's already there, so no adding new terrain or removing existing terrain. You can replace the level's textures with some limitations, and you can change how terrain acts (change thick snow so it acts like ice, for example).

Using the limited editor that's available, I made this level edit which can allow you to beat the course in Race mode in under a minute if you play perfectly. Additionally, opponent racers have little to no issue with the new changes.

Replace the original file in your NTSC-U PS2 copy of the game using the correct ISO manager software, I recommend either replacing with UltraISO Premium or rebuilding the ISO with ImgBurn.
