My LEGO Technic bucket wheel excavator is finally completed. Wow! What a nice model. Definitely not for kids, more for advanced builders. Highly recommended. Make sure you do not install the gears too tight though, leave a 1/2 mm or 1/64th inch clearance for less friction.

The excavator rotates slowly because a lot of torque is required due to the weight of the upper section. Making the rotation faster would not have been possible even with the XL motor.
