A run I did for the La Calice Cup, Leiria -Stargazer- is a game I've played in the past too and I had some notes left for scoring with the original shottype. I didn't expect to get a run this quickly after I took a bit of practice, especially not a run that no misses the game, which was quite the pleasant surprise. Especially with how much S6 started to seem like a downhill battle in regards to how quickly I needed to bomb so much.

I'm pretty proud of this run, there's probably a lot of room of improvement but I decided it's better to be safe than sorry later on in the game, I was probably a bit forgetful as to at what point using boost mode is most effective early on in the run too. Though I get the idea I still did a good job. I'm not sure what's the best approach for stages, I generally want to retain my boost mode for midbosses and bosses, main thoughts there are that having a boost ready is very convenient and wouldn't require me to move up close with the increased risk of mistiming when I go down again (or just having to dodge some bullets for a bit) + the items you get during the stage portion from enemies are worth some score too.

There's a little bit of lag and framedrops and this happened because I was live-recording the game (and perhaps me uploading the practice attempts yesterday contributed too?) but it's not that major, it does actually increase risk if things move a bit erratically and I get caught up with that during dodging.

I think I should've died at a bunch of points looking at how close some of my dodges were, needless to say I'm glad I didn't. I think lives were worth 30m in the clear bonus of this game, so that would've been a big hit. There's probably some points where losing a life for boss milking might have a net score gain but I think that's a bit too risky to consider, especially since this route was relatively keen on preserving bombs unless they were helpful to scoring (or survival during s6...)
