146A playthrough of Sierra On-line's 1987 PC text-parser based graphic adventure for Dos, Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards.
Played through in the game's Tandy 1000 mode, using Tandy 16-color graphics and the three-channel sound chip - a huge step up from the PC speaker. I got all of the possible points in the game with a final score of 222/222.
Just a heads up - if you aren't a fan of heavy sexual innuendo and teenage toilet humor, or if you find it offensive, you probably want to skip this. It was an "adult" game back in the 80s, though in all honesty, there are worse things to be found in modern games with Teen ratings on them.
Leisure Suit Larry is a true classic, though. It is (as far as I know) Al Lowe's first high-profile PC game release, or at least one with graphics, and it is the foundation of one of the main pillars that held up Sierra in their golden years, sitting alongside King's Quest, Police Quest, and Space Quest. The humor is pitch-perfect, getting raunchy and crude without ever getting disgustingly vulgar - it really is far more reliant on innuendo than anything else.
If you don't mind the graphics (seriously, it's a 30-year-old PC game!), you'll find a whole lot to amuse you here. The jokes are all well-written, the story is hilarious in its concept (you play as a 40-year-old virgin whose come to "Lost Wages" to find true love, or at the very least, a willing participant in an act of bodily fluid exchange), and it's extremely accessible. Even though its using a text-parser, most of the commands are intuitive, and there aren't anywhere near as many dead-ends or insane leaps of logic that many Sierra games were riddled with. If you've ever been curious about the genre, or about the allure of Sierra titles in general, but always find yourself intimated by a totally archaic interface and dated presentation, give this one a shot. You'll probably like it, if you have the requisite sense of humor.
If you like the idea of the game but just can't get past the graphics or text-parser, it was also released with VGA graphics and an icon-driven interface in the early 90s.
