Len'en 1 - Evanescent Existence: Unreal 1cc (Suzumi)

If you're one of my long-time viewers (From Summer 2020 or something), you'd know that I'm an absolutely bonkers Len'en fan. Quite a lot of my videos from back then are Len'en vids. If I recall correctly, my contents before the great deletation in 2020, when I forgot to sign out of the computer in the computer lab, and some asshole decided to nuke all of my videos:

So, how did I get into Len'en? Well, it's kind of self-explanatory.
Being the guy that nearly came after watching Crested's TD TriUltra TAS, I'd LOVE to see impossible bullshit. Back then, to me, impossible bullet vomit = funniest shit ever. And that's why the AbEX's brought me to absolutely fucking heaven. 2019 me also LOVES earrapes as well, which exists throughout the entirely of Present World Overhaul. RMI's AbEX is essentially my first introduction to Len'en. And then I watched BPoHC's AbEX. Needless to say, I was very interested.
My first time beating Taira no Fumikado in RMI is definitely one hell of a fucking experience.
Wanna hear some funny stories? Well, as I've said multiple times before, I'm fucking dumb. In 2019, being able to setup the SSG files for SpoilerAL is my biggest fucking technical achievement. And since my skills are just fucking horrible (and due to the fact that I'm a fucking idiot), I can't seem to understand why do games like SA, IN, or the Len'ens don't save my progress after I closes them. BPoHC included.
Then I found out that I can....save the changed data to the .rar file (which takes 30 minutes for data saving after each play). Which works for BPoHC, but still heavily unoptimized. Then Raymario Pokenic (another 2hu player on the r/touhou discord) told me that I have to extract the fucking files out in order for the saving system to work properly. I'm such a fucking idiot.
Len'en also pays a quite important role in my life. If pretty much every winter, I sticked to one single game each year (details:
2016: Epic Battle Fantasy 4 & Bullet Heaven 2
2017: can't remember that well
2018: Epic Battle Fantasy 5 & NGU Idle

, then, Len'en 4: Brilliant Pagoda or Haze Castle is definitely my game during 2019's Winter.
Why would I love BPoHC? Well, there are **several** reasons.
1) From the beginning of time, I loved the "upgrading" genre. Which is why I absolutely loves playing Idle games. Tower defense games to an extent, has great upgrading shit. I do think that the fact that Kingdom Rush is my very first game has shaped my entire game preferences later on.
2) I love broken hilarious bullshit. Which BPoHC has a lot of
3) I like BPoHC because it's music is undeniably lit. And its replayability is high, regradless of the boring stages.
Back then in late-2019, I fucking grinded BPoHC to the max. Lv3500+ or something. Met every single boss possible. Cleared Ex+a with Secret Team (Suzumi Kuzu/Suzumi Kuzu/Suzumi Kuzu). And the fact that the end of 2019 is literally my 2nd most interesting period so far, only after the entirely of my 8th school year, it helps. Then, 2020 came. 2019 is gone, and so do my plays of BPoHC. Not my love for its OST though. I literally mumbling The Road That Must Be Walked while walking for some long ass distance lmao. That time is legitimately just.... a little bit riiiiiiiiiight before COVID-19 gets mentioned for the 1st time in my country, which is, y'know, one of China's neighbours (Somewhere around Jan 3-Jan 6, 2020). Good times
2020 is a really fucked up year for me. Lots of ups and downs, here and there. And, during all of the major events (1st Great Kickout, Infinite Summer Nights, 2nd Great Kickout, Social Fuckup Shitfest, Great Frustration), it's....there. It's fucking there. BPoHC and RMI's EX theme just sticks wwith me for way too long. And if you've heard about all of the shits I've imagined, then yeah, BPoHC's final bosses' theme are stuck in my mind as well. And, during the legit worst period of my entire life so far (Sept 2020 - Jan 2021), Sacred Fireflies and Moon Child is always playing non-stop in my fucking mind. And it doesn't help that Sacred Fireflies is way too good for walking sessions, which I just do pretty much all the time during that period
Basically, the Len'en series has lots of meaning to me.
Basically, I've been through a lot with Len'en. And yes, len'en music is a lot more moody than most of Touhou's music.
