572Sometimes we spend our whole lives searching for happiness, thinking that it lies in some future goal. However, despite conquering one goal after another, we still feel empty.
As the sages remind us, happiness does not lie in the goals or illusions we create in our minds, which are governed by desires and social prejudices.
Happiness is not far away, it is present in the present moment, in the moment we stop and let go of our desires. When we stop chasing the illusions we create, we will see that the world is inherently mysterious and happiness always exists.
