154This is an arrangement of Barry Leitch's first stage theme from Ocean's 1992 Amiga game, Lethal Weapon. I have arranged it for native playback on SNES hardware, and the audio was recorded directly from a launch model US SNES console.
I really liked the track and I've covered it before, but even though I was happy with my original try at first, I later realized that the bass was a bit pitchy and the whole thing had that muddy no-treble smear that you get when you don't properly preprocess samples for the SNES's APU. I used a brand new sample set this time and sank a whole lot of time into better balancing the instruments, and I think it came out quite a bit better as a result. Thanks for listening!
