In an unexpected twist, Magus didn't create Lavos. He only summoned him... and the energy from the early summoning of this monstrosity causes a gate to open up that sucks everyone inside of it and scatters them all through time! The group lands back in Ayla's time of 65 million B.C. and it seems the only thing that can be done is to regroup... except the Reptites have started causing many problems while they were all gone!
