Part 26 of "Chrono Trigger" for the SNES, played through SNES9x v1.51. This is a blind playthrough.

The floating Empire of Zeal is run by the Queen. It seems they've figured out how to do things while they sleep, which is quite an impressive task. However, going into the Castle of Zeal we find the Mammon Machine -- a machine that taps directly into the power of Lavos. This CAN'T be good. Solidifying this thought is the fact the Queen and her council consider Crono and his team to be outsiders and invaders, fighting them and sealing them in prison. They are freed by a small child named Janus and his 'mother' named Schala in hopes that they can help with rescuing Melchior, but this is foiled by a nosy Queen's council mage... and the group is cast out of the time era by the use of the same Gate that got them there... and Schala is forced to seal it shut.
