3Time to check the Demo of "Them and Us", a survival horror game, inspired by old legends of the genre like Resident Evil, Sillent Hill and Dino Crisis.
You play as Alicia, trying to uncover the truth of her past while, while exploring a weird mansion, full of dangers, zombies and puzzles.
The game has all the staples of the genre, like puzzles, inventory management and...clunky controls. On positives of the game is that you can actually choose to play this game with a fixed camera, like the old classics, or with a 3rd person above the shoulder camera. Also there seems to be a dismemberment system when you are fighting enemies, depending of where you targeting them.
The inventory management can become a bit annoying at times, since even key items take up space and you constantly have to go back and forth to use all the keys and other similar items.
Overall the game has decent graphics, music and voice acting.You can tell is a passion project from fans of the genre with many references on the classics.
If you are a fan of the genre, this is a decent budget Resident Evil clone to have some fun with.
