1Time to check the Demo of "Broken Roads", a top down isometric turn based CRPG that takes place in a post apocalyptic Australia. It is heavily influenced by games like Fallout,Wasteland. The game also reminds me somewhat of Disco Elysium, as the game is narrative-driven, with plenty of dialogue options and a unique moral compass system.
The game uses a pallete and art design, that reminds me of a watercolor painting. It looks beautiful and depicts in great detailed the desolate post apocalyptic Australia.
The game has some voice acting, that is really good, especially the old narrator, but most of the dialogue is not voiced. I know that most indie games, cannot have a lot of voice acting due to budget restrains, but i had to mention it.
I try my best to read everything, so forgive my bad "voice acting" on some moments :)
I think this game should be on the radar of fans of old school Fallout games, or story heavy RPGs like Disco Elysium.
