1Time to check the Demo of "Whisker Squadron Survivor", a space sci-fi, on-rails shooter with roguelike elements.
The game has great colorful graphics, that feel almost psychedelic at times, like you are roaming inside a synthwave music video clip. The soundtrack is great and most importantly, the gameplay is a fun and addicting! You have plenty of upgrades to do on your spaceship, pilots to unlock and various buffs and addons to unlock for your runs.
The game was made by the developers of the older indie favorite game, "Race the Sun". They are creating a whole "Whisker Squadron" universe of games, that are heavily inspired by the StarFox series of Nintendo. "Whisker Squadron Survivor" is the first game, with a more open world, exploration, space game coming up on a later date.
Overall a pretty fun game for the fans of roguelike games and space shooters. Great game to jump in for a fast run after a busy day!
