5Time to check the Demo of "Beat Slayer", a sci-fi top down hack and slash roguelite game combined with a rhythm game.
The game has a unique original setting, taking place on a dystopian 90s Berlin.
Pretty good graphics and music and a comic book style on the character design!
The gameplay is pretty good, but it can take sometime till you get the rhythm going. But there are plenty of options for the difficulty and the assist mode can help those that cant keep up the rhythm play the game like a normal hack and slash.
The game is heavily inspired by the game "Hades". So if you are hungry for more games like that, you should check this out.

Leverage Mia’s nimble move set and decide within seconds which of your moves you should use. Dash to engage or disengage? Attack to build up your drive bar or spread your status effects? Kick your enemies against walls or into each other? The choice is yours!

Each run plays differently and is influenced by your playstyle and your thrill for risks, but also by your starting weapon, your chosen upgrades and your growing skill set.

Rely on your unconventional team of rebels as you navigate through a robot-controlled and corrupted Berlin. Discover the city's diverse locations, from underground bunkers to towering rooftops, while your allies assist with weapons, upgrades, and valuable insights.
