Let's Demo "Kristala", a promising indie fantasy action RPG! Dark Souls with Cats?
1Time to check the Demo of"Kristala", a fantasy 3rd person action RPG with a rather unique protagonist. An anthropomorphic cat, a Raksaka .
The game is heavily inspired by the games of From Software, like Dark Souls trilogy, with tough but fair combat, lore you discover by exploring and checking items and journals and more.
The gameplay feels good, with satisfying feedback on your hits, cool stealth kills and many ways to aproach each situation. There are some rough edges on the game, but this an early version, so things can only improve from this already impressive base they have build.
Graphics and sound is well made, even on this early build. The game is using Unreal Engine 5, so the final version can be really impressive.
Overall a game that fans of Soulslike game should keep on their radar.

Regenerate Mana by engaging in melee combat — unlock + level catlike abilities on a Feline Skill tree.
◆ Defeat obstacles with stealth & Nimbleness
Execute unique abilities that allow you to traverse the environment in many ways, overcoming new + exciting challenges. New traversal abilities are unlocked by progressing Kristala’s main storyline + each new skill opens up new pathways in previously explored areas.
◆ Piece Together the Lore Through Exploration
In-game cinematics + an enchanting soundtrack are often used as storytelling tools, along with written journal pickups + impactful NPC interactions. Unravel the story even further via unique Kristal Memory items — brief scenes recounting past events that occurred where the Memories are found.
