Welcome to Let's Derp, a Let's Play without the continuity! This series will have me play one random game a week from a variety of genres. Feel free to suggest a title; if I can get my hands on it then I might well play it! Depending on the popularity of each game, I may even consider doing a full fledged L.P of it some time in the future.

And so we return to Let's Derp! Not before time, eh? This week's game is Star Wars Battlefront 2, one of Lucasarts' most successful Star Wars titles. Available for just under ten Euro on Steam, the game is a 1st/3rd person shooter which allows you to serve as a rank-and-file soldier in one of the four key factions of the Star Wars saga: The Republic, The C.I.S, The Empire and The Rebel Alliance. Each of these faction has its own strengths and weaknesses which can be exploited by a canny player. Will you take up the Rebel cause of liberty and bring light to an ailing galaxy? Or will you don the armour of an Imperial Stormtrooper and oust the Rebel scum once and for all?

Today we serve the Rebels, Empire and Republic while testing the Dark Times mod, which dabbles in the Star Wars Expanded Universe! Enjoy...
