Cedar Flags is inching closer to the park's grand opening! We're focusing on filling out the rest of the front portion of the park in this episode. We're creating a plaza for guests to eat their fries and drink some coffee before exploring what the park has to offer.

This plaza has a central fountain to draw the interest of the guests. This fountain took nearly 45 minutes to complete and is now available in the Steam Workshop, the link to the collection is down below. The plaza features some benches and trash bins to hopefully keep litter to a minimum.

Around the plaza we focused on some green space. Trees and bushes surround the rails to create an atmosphere similar to that of a coffee house on a busy street in Europe. Guests can walk up the ramp to the coffee stand where they can purchase the high quality Street Fox Coffee.

The tiered plaza was definitely a learning experience for me. It went smooth mostly because of the planning ahead. I used a flat roof to properly space out the grid before starting to build.

This episode also features my first angled building design. These get tricky because you can only build on one grid at a time. This wasn't that hard to accomplish because I didn't end up with the roofs colliding. The area over the angled wall is an upper terrace.

This building is also our first shop building to deviate from the all brick style that we've been using throughout the park. It was a bit uncomfortable to build with a new style but that was mostly because I'm still learning the different building sets and how they work together.

I really like how the park is coming together. I'm really excited to get the park finally opened. That will come in the next couple episodes!
