Kanako's Spellcards:
Expanded Onbashira - I think the trick here is to stay as far out as you can and kind of dodge the lasers in order to make the amulets target your position. They're not homing, but they will go to your current position. I failed epically on that though and had to use a bomb in the end.
Second non-spellcard comment: I bombed in the border of life and death here, which is why you hear the death-sound while I'm not actually losing a life. It happens sometimes.
God's Rice Porridge: Fairly simple. Just dodge the incoming ricegrains. Their size puts you off your balance for a bit, but it's pretty easy to foresee their direction.
...well, I say that, but I still bombed out of panic.
Misayama Hunting Shrine Ritual - ... I... don't know. I hate this spellcard. I can't figure out the pattern here if there is any. Bomb like a madman until you get it down.
Fourth non-spellcard: This is a set of three moves, in order. She will
A: Shoot those large blue projectiles at you. Just dodge, it's not hard.
B: Throw knives at you. These ones are easy if you know the trick. They will target your current position, so simple sidestepping will keep you alive.
C: Shoot green projectiles at you. Just dodge them, they are fast as hell.
I bombed here out of panic again :S
Miracle of Otensui - ...whatever pattern there is here, I DON'T know it. To me this is basically a death sentence, the only way I know to survive this is to bomb like there is no bloody tomorrow.
Mountain of Faith - Welcome to HELL. This is Kanako's last spellcard, and MAN does it suck. As far as I know there is no pattern to this, it's just a matter of experience and training. Your bombs are reduced to practically nothing, and the only reason I survived here was because I had a ridiculous amount of extra lives. If anyone knows how to beat this spellcard with a strategy, you are welcome to tell me about it.
Anyway, that's it for Mountain of Faith. You of course get a bad ending for beating the game on Easy, but I am in no shape to challenge Normal difficulty for a long time.
