As it turns out, there really is no place like home. Especially when "home" is your own body.

Team Zero Escape seems to always find a way to branch out to different paths. In this case, it's not so much the character carrying knowledge between timelines as it is the game preventing you from progressing the narrative until the player knows what's up, and then Date is able to assimilate some of his memory based on what's happening around him.

So, in the end, as it turns out, the first path we took was actually the narratively the "true" path.

Hm, I guess that means that the face we've gotten used to over the past 17 videos won't be in nirvanA Initiative, though... Do we play as Yagyu, then, or someone else? We'll probably see, someday soon... (If you know, don't answer in comments. I've already looked up the trailer.)
