Sorry about the length of this one, but in the interests of leaving in all the gory details, this is as short a I could easily go.
One of the objectives of this series is to demonstrate REAL LIFE when fixing computers- and that means I don't cut the camera when I make a mistake.

Repair notes: Regarding the black and white sheet that I had to destroy while removing, this sheet is part of the backlight system, it's there simply to separate the backlight lens (clear plastic sheet to reflect the light around the keyboard) from the metal base of the keyboard itself. There's no real issue with removing it.
There's a slight screen cut at the point where I'm removing the power button (top left of laptop), the cable got tangled, so I cut out the minutes spent freeing it.
