10Let's get real and let's get dangerous. Magic the Gathering is not what it used to be. Magic the Gathering has evolved, Wizards of the coast has evolved. This small company could no longer stay small. it was forced to grow and learn their rapidly growing player and collector base. Thanks to the Marketing of youtubers loving the game and creating profitable content on social media. the game not only has grown new players and collectors, but the company followed suit and did the same. I've seen MTG advertisement on content created videos on non MTG channels. You can google and youtube old TV ads. You probably see advertisements for a lot of these advertisements. The point isn't advertisements, the point I am making is REACH. The reach of Magic the gathering has grown an extraordinary amount! From Arena to paper. The game has grown the player base has grown. How the player base reacts to the game is not as big as the consumer base. The player base and consumer base has probably tripled since 2019. I think people overlook the awesomeness that is the growth of the game and business. Now I don't think the numbers that we are shown are perfect, but I see the demand for the game has grown. I don't see a lot of content creators hitting the reality of the game, because most people want to kiss up to WOTC, but with the lawsuits and news we've covered I think people in the company and outside the company can fully know the true story. but the one thing I can see in the growth of the game.
