I'm uncertain what to think of this story-line. On the one hand, it feels like it's pushing the idea that your contact has shady motives they aren't letting you in on. On the other hand, I probably wouldn't be opposed to this if the guy just told me what the eventual plot was. I was expecting something of a rebellion but this method is a bit more "clean" from a public perspective, really. No extra lives lost and problem solved. The fact that it's a video game and everything I've encountered about this guy says he's terrible means that my conscience isn't really pricked. That said... I do regret not stopping to talk to him.
