Let's Look At Rigs Mechanized Combat League PSVR
0Rigs Mechanized Combat League is a shooter where you're in the cockpit of a mech fighter. (ala blue gender not gundam) There are 3 different game modes, team takedown (Team Slayer), endzone (basically American football but EXTREME cuz mechs, no seriously you can pass the ball and everything), and powerslam which you'll see here.
I'll be frank, if you have motion sickness issues this game could set it off. You WILL feel like you're there, jumping up and down 2-5 stories at once will make your stomach jump around. I personally love that feeling, but thankfully there are a few vr comfort options. The most obvious of which is the ejection (death) mechanic. By default all you see is your hud turning dark. If you turn it off you fly in the air and then fly to your respawn point of your choosing then a very quick 2-3 floor descent that can be a little stomach turning if you're sensitive.
There are 2 control schemes for aiming and turning in Rigs. I use the default head tracking, it sounds weird to aim with your head but it works great. It just feels... "Right" You can elect to use the right stick but it didn't click with me, YMMV though.
There of course is an online multiplayer mode as well with it's own sponsorships which unlocks different customization items. I've yet to delve into it yet, I'm still trying to get better before heading online.
All in all Rigs is a phenomenal game in it's own right. It's fast, it's fun, it's satisfying to play when you get used to it. It's all I personally could ask for in a vr launch game. I cannot recommend it enough if you have a psvr and love shooters with mech overtones.
