In our Let's Play A House of Many Doors gameplay video we check out this 2D narrative and exploration game inspired by Sunless Sea (and partially funded by its creators Failbetter).
A House of Many Doors gameplay takes many cues from Sunless Sea, with cities to find and travel between, stories to create, items to collect and trade, chances to take and sanity to preserve.
But A House of Many Doors gameplay branches off with turn-based combat encounters that require strategy and cunning to win - or just try to dodge them in the first place! It also has a more focused overall story, gameplay based around procedurally generated poetry.
Traversing the landscape is different too in A House of Many Doors gameplay, with flip-screen rooms full of debris and treasures, and a grid-like map to explore. In this Let's Play A House of Many Doors gameplay we explore the house to find several cities, take on two fights and write one awful poem!
