Age of Empires III: The Asian Dynasties is a 2010 J2ME-based mobile adaptation of the Windows game of the same name. It is a standalone expansion to Age of Empires III Mobile, and like it developed by Glu Mobile and published by Microsoft Game Studios.
The game keeps the gameplay of its predecessor intact, but features three new civilisations: the Japanese, Chinese, and Indians. It also lifts other elements from its Windows version, such as building monuments to reach the next age.
Age of Empires III: The Asian Dynasties contains two campaigns inspired by the Imjin War, the Japanese invasions of Korea at the end of the 16th century. Since the Koreans aren't a playable faction in the game, it features two ten-mission campaigns for the Japan and Ming China instead.
