The contenders for the throne of Armello know that the hour is long in the battle for the crown; the king sits weakly on his throne, rot having all but consumed his body and spirit. The kingdom suffers in the twilight of the mad monarch's reign but all is not lost. One of the four who struggles so to succeed the king shall rise to take the mantle and they shall lead the kingdom and all the clans into prosperity and a bright future.

Only one question remains: will it be Zosha who rules Armello when the dust settles? Will the shadow behind the throne step into the light and claim what should have been hers all along?

Armello is a game that if I'd discovered the kickstarter while it was going I'd of definitely backed. A board game where no two games are the same and victory can come in many different varieties there's a hero and play style for every kind of player and the objectives of any one turn can be drastically different to the last based on the actions of your opponents or the banes and kings guards. The game is artistically very striking and the music draws you into the world and the match itself, painting the picture of a kingdom of great promise that's been corrupted by forgotten evils left long buried. While the matches have taken a while they can be a lot shorter if you turn on quick AI turns, an option which instantly resolves combat and perils encountered when only AI are involved. The game is fun both against the AI and human opponents and although I've only played against the AI in these matches I have had some experience playing a few of my friends and those matches have been very enjoyable and definitely a challenge. Having played over 40 matches of Armello (not including the ones in these videos) I can safely say that I really enjoy the game and will be looking forward to them adding more content. When they do I'll be sure to do more videos of it as new heroes and cards will only make the matches even more interesting.

So what's next? Armello was originally something I put in the Monday slot while I considered what to do next for that slot. It later moved to Thursday as I wanted to show each of the heroes in action as well as try to go for the different victory types. With that done I won't be replacing the Thursday slot with another game; recording the extra three or so videos a week proved to be quite a strain on my time and while I've absolutely no regrets doing it I wouldn't be able to sustain it in the long run. Armello isn't going to stop forever however; when more content is released for the game I'll return to it, making more videos of what they've added to see how it changes the dynamics of the game. I will also of course continue to play in my spare time as well, it's a game I quite enjoy playing. I'm sure this isn't the last time we'll see the fight for the throne of Armello take place but for now I think it's time to leave that kingdom. I'm sure the ruler will reign justly and fairly, there's no chance that they too will get corrupted by the same evil that consumed the former king right? ...Right?

See you next Let's Play!

At the 6:40 mark in the video I cut out a few seconds of video where the audio got seriously garbled. Nothing that I said was lost in the small segment of video I had to cut.

This video was recorded a few days later in the week after the other two videos in this match. My voice has improve somewhat at the time of recording this one but it's still not at 100%.
