Let's Play Ashes: Afterglow Ep.13 Securing The Tunnels
35On the thirteenth episode of Let's Play Ashes: Afterglow, the Scav has reached Prosperity and picked up a few jobs around town in order to earn some scrap. Our current job is to locate where mutants might be getting into the tunnels beneath the town, and we seem to be getting closer after running into a whole pack of mutants. After clearing out the group, we end up stumbling across some of the Roamers in the area of the tunnels that run under the Junkyard. Not looking for trouble with them yet, I head back to the elevator we encountered before and take it deeper into the tunnels. Down below we find the large hole to the surface that the mutants have been using to get in, and after building up pressure in the gas pipes, set off an explosion that collapses the breach. However, it also gives us access to a door that warns us about chlorine gas behind it, which we'll need more protection to enter. Our next job is to head to the old nuclear power plant to look for some scavs that have dipped out on their "friend" and left him babysitting the junk store. But Silver also mentions they found a hazmat suit there before, so we might be able to find another during our search. Making our way to the power plant, we find it full of pit fiends and a bizarre new mutant that seems to be an ambulatory fire-shooting plant.
