0Hector launches his attack just outside the camp. We fix up some turrets and then repel the invading soldiers and mutants. Tannis reveals she wasn't able to create an antidote, but she traces the origins of the gas to its creator, a former Atlas scientist named Dr. Cassius. Vaughn and Cassius go way back so he contacts him. Cassius reveals he created the gas for Hector, but had no idea he would use it for malevolent purposes. He gets to work on an antidote. Meanwhile, we gotta rendezvous with Mordecai. We find his bird Talon attacking New Pandora Soldiers then gives us the impression that something bad happened to Mordecai. We find Mordecai struggling to hold off enemy attacks so we come to his aid. We learn that Hector's men gassed him pretty good and now he's infected. Lilith arrives and takes him back to camp to get treated and quarantined. We try to get into the Dahl Mines where Cassius is, but Hector's got it locked up tight. There's no getting in unless we blast it open with something powerful. If we could get Helios' moonshot cannon up and running, we could blast the doors open that way, but to get to the ruins of Helios, we'll have to go through The Burrows. Before all that however, we have more side jobs to do in the next part.
