Borderlands is a game set on the world known as Pandora. Often exploited by large companies for profit, Pandora is a harsh world where anything goes and everything is out to kill you. In come the Vault Hunters, a band of treasure hunters that seek the legendary "Vault" of Pandora which is said to hold vast treasure beyond imagining.
With thousands upon thousands of different weapons available to you, it's your job to fight you way through the hordes of Skag, Rakk, Psychos and anything else between you and your promised lewt from the Vault.
Gearbox are also responsible for a number of other games that have been released in the past years, such as Borderlands 2 the direct sequel to Borderlands. They also released.. Well, Duke Nukem: Forever, that's a good game, right? Oh hey! They also did Aliens: Colonial Marines, I've never played it but surely anything based on the Alien franchise must be fabulous!
Well damn, while they've made some.. "Questionable" choices in the past, at least Borderlands is fun.
