With most of the new characters you get, you get overworld abilities that allow you access to new areas. With Mogu, not only do we get his dig spots, but since those spots lead to new areas for Karn to gain transformations, we get quite a bit of new places to poke around in. So with those places thoroughly poked, we return to the town of Spring so we can dig our way into the nearby tower.
