Our reward for making the trek up the Tock Tower the first time? Dumped back on the map alone around a bunch of enemies with instant kill attacks. Also, getting to go there again because one of the townies nearby wants to talk to Cerl.

This area just gets to feel like a lot of padding. Also, the story we're about to get here is something they actually start to tell correctly by the time they get around to Breath of Fire 3. They just haven't quite mastered it yet.
