The Taurus is one of my favorite guns now. Just look at that mess Lillian made! On a related note I start to make more notes as I am certain Lilian will survive at least a couple more days so we don't want to raid the same places over and over again.
Welcome to my LP of Cataclysm DDA 0.6 with the Hardcore trait. I hope you are ready for a ride because there are no brakes on the rape train.
Lilian, my character inspired by my real girlfriend, will have to survive alone in an unforgiving world with minimum (25% of normal) hitpoints.
The main new features of the 0.6 are (quoted from DDA webpage):
- The undead rise again, but you can put a stop to it - if you don't finish them off completely, they will recover to threaten you again. So remember to perform a melee finisher (smash) a few times, light them on fire, or otherwise insure their second trip to the afterlife is a permanent one.
- Learning system overhauled - the experience pool has been replaced by a Focus system, where the efficiency of learning is what's changed, rather than the strict can learn/cannot learn dichotomy of before. Morale is still incredibly important though! Keep your spirits up if you want to improve (even if you have to imbibe some spirits to pull it off).
- More indicators - How much sound you're making, how long actions take, you'll generally get more feedback from the game.
General description: Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead is a roguelike set in a post-apocalyptic world. Surviving is difficult: you have been thrown, ill-equipped, into a landscape now riddled with monstrosities of which flesh eating zombies are neither the strangest nor the deadliest.
