This will be a complete playthrough, by me your FlightlessBird, with cuts happening only when we grind or unnecessarily backtrack. So expect all the fights! All the maps! And more importantly, all the story! As a story-based channel, we will try to get every bit of lore information out of Chrono Trigger and voice-over every line of dialogue.

🐧 This is the Steam Version, which we are playing for three reasons. The first is that this is a port of the DS, which added an additional ending to tie together Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross better (at least, I have heard, I have not seen it yet!). The second is because emulating a DS game is hard to do for me, and the screen would be very small on the screen if we did. This way, we get a much bigger picture. The third is, apparently, there were new zones also added to the game and FMVs from the PS1 release (which I had not played!). We are NOT playing the Steam version for the High-Definition pixels though, I prefer the original graphics in this game! It is so beautiful! Truly, a timeless RPG classic!

🐧 About #ChronoTrigger: Heralded as one of the greatest RPGs of all-time. Some would even say one of the greatest GAMES of all-time, no need to include it's genre! The game begins with us meeting our silent protagonist Crono who goes to a fair that happens only once every one-thousand years: The Millennial Fair. There, he bumps into a young girl named Marle. After enjoying each other's company, Crono takes her to go visit his friend Lucca, a young inventor who has made a teleport machine! Crono volunteers and is teleported from one device to the other. Marle wants to then try, but something goes wrong. She ends up disappearing into a rift! Our young hero decides to follow after her. He ends up in the same place, but in a new time! Can our Hero save the past, present, and our future? Meet unique allies like Frog, a noble warrior who is a... Frog! Robo, an honorable fighter who is a... Robot! And Ayla, a prehistoric martial-artist savant! Travel with us through time and stop the nefarious Lavos from ruining the world!
