Command & Conquer: Flame Dancers is a modification for the original Command & Conquer. It was developed by Andrew Griffin, and originally released in 1997. It makes a number of changes to the game, and replaces the GDI campaign with a 15-mission custom campaign.
The Flame Dancers campaign takes place after the canon ending of Command & Conquer: Tiberian Dawn, and depicts GDI against the Flame Dancers, a group of fanatics and new terrorists threat.
Flame Dancers adds a new structure, the Flame Pod, to the game, fitting the Flame Dancer's preference for flame weapons. It was later followed by Flame Dancers: Genesis, a campaign for Command & Conquer: Red Alert that covers the origins of the Flame Dancers.
