And so Croc 2 ends, with a bit of a whimper. Overall, I feel that ambition and cool ideas got the better of this game, when solidity and cohesiveness was needed a lot more. I did have fun playing the game again (some parts notwithstanding), and I will remember this game for what it wanted to do, and I will respect it for it.

One last thing I did not mention is my opinion on the store and buying items. I felt that it was rather unnecessary, especially when the game does not use Gummi Savers/Jellies equally; there is literally only one spot in the game to use the purple Gummi Savers (two if you count the other pad I found in the Caveman Village). Changing the crystals into currency was an okay idea, but not knowing what items you need for a level the first time you play it results in the player playing the level twice to get everything, and that should not happen.

And that pretty much is my final thoughts on Croc 2. Despite its flaws, it still like parts of it, and I hope you enjoyed this LP. Hopefully I will not see mine carts in games for a little while, though.
