The main problem that my kingdom has is that while I do possess a lot of power, the Irish lords also have a lot of power between them all. United, they pose a more powerful military force then I do and while I have allies I can call in to help defend me if they decide to go to war with me, I can't always rely on having powerful friends to fall back on.

In general, I need to try and keep at least a few of the lords friendly to me so that they all won't want to unite under a factions banner and try to press their demands. The main problem I have is that I don't have many easy places to expand into; most of my neighbors are either larger then me, possessing many more allies then I do or are actually allied with me. I must pick my fights with care.
