Elana the Squalid Queen can be a tough battle depending on how many and which reinforcements she summons. If she only summons skeletons you're in the clear. If she summons anything else though.. it's a bit harder.

If she summons a former boss (yes she does that) then having a summon is I'd imagine a godsend. If you're stubborn like me though and want to do it alone, it's like O&S all over again.. except one spams spells and summons more skeletons I think.

I'm not sure if my strategy was a fluke but it worked well enough. Alone she's not bad at all. The hard part is the extra enemies, they will follow and harass you constantly. Good luck!
