This is part one of my first time Let's Play of Dead Space. At one point, I contemplated playing Silent Hill 2 blind instead of Dead Space, but with my capture unit still out of commission and my saving up for an El Gato slow going, I decided to play Dead Space instead. I have since played though Silent Hill 2, and thought the game was very enjoyable and fun, which is weird considering the disturbing subject matters presented and the general reputation of unpleasantness. I'd actually say I thought Silent Hill 1 was scarier than Silent Hill 2, but that's just my experience.
I'm aware that there are multiple things holding me back in this initial play through, most annoying of all is how awful the Mouse and Keyboard controls are and how laggy the game becomes if you have V-sync on. Eventually, I switch to a Xbox 360 controller and turn off V-sync.
